Yeah, but you are describing parties in the last 15 years (some of us weren't old enough to be getting into any nights then!)... within my time in Finland (3.5yrs) I would agree to some extent with the broader translation that was given for "ilmainen". However, I think it also takes a bit of knowledge of the scene here and the various players and the venues to know when a free-entry night will be a big one or whether it will be a much smaller intimate night - but that isn't to say that is a bad thing....

In finnish scale it is. You can ask from many "normal" people who are just going to party. They never go to A: DTM and B: to a house/techno party. And so what, there is like 800 people dancing in danceteria? It is good music and the point is that the author of this thread just want's a good party with good music. Think about that equalization. :)
