KENNETH CHRISTIANSEN (DK) has been an important part of the European dub techno scene for over twenty years. As a DJ, he’s played in some of the main churches of Techno-believers, including Berghain and Tresor, as well as many major festivals.

He also runs a number of respected labels, most notably Echocord, known for deep, stripped-back dub techno, forward-thinking releases and a strong sense of space and tension.

Expect one of a kind journey through space and time.


TM SHUFFLE, label boss of Vuo Records and a guest at last year’s 65Hz Members Only party, is coming back to Vaasa. Expect deep 4 a.m. moods, hypnotic rhythms, and endless grooves – techno with a house feeling, or the other way around.

He has released tracks and EPs on several labels, including Stardub, Mouche, Vuo Records, Frozen North, and others.


VESA-MATTI, a local dub head, will perform a live set at the DUBS & ROSES. He serves four-to-the-floor beats and dubby techno infused with ambient and experimental atmospheres – a slow mutation of rhythm and space for the dancefloor.

Vesa-Matti has released music on numerous labels, including Ljudverket, Meltdown Deejays, and Motto Sono.


03SIDIAN is the alias of Michele Uccheddu, a Sardinian-born sound artist currently based in Vaasa. With a background in percussion and academic studies in electronic music, Michele blends improvisation and precision to create hypnotic sonic experiences.

He has released deep and dub techno on labels such as Meltdown Deejays, Motto Sono, and Supranu Records.

DUBS & ROSES will feature his hybrid live set – live sound made on stage mixed with records.
