Laughing Buddha bio

With a career spanning nearly 15 years, from the early days of the Goa Trance scene, Laughing Buddha is still going from strength to strength continually evolving his sound to rock dancefloors across the world. Jez made his appearance in 1995 on Transient Records as one half of Cosmosis producing the classic album ‘Cosmology’. From early releases on T.I.P. Records, Dragonfly and Flying Rhino, Jez has now joined the Nano Records family and is looking forward to the release of his debut solo album which is nearing completion and sounding seriously fat. With appearances at such events as the Glade Festival, Universo Paralello, Boom Festival and countless other parties around the world, Jez is an experienced live act and DJ and anyone who has seen him perform will confirm that he lives up to the name of the Laughing Buddha!




Fearsome Engine bio

Fearsome Engine is none other then the mighty Tristan and Laughing Buddha teaming up for a banging new project that has already appeared live at BOOM (portugal), GLADE (UK) and Cachoiera Alta (Brasil). The boys have hit new levels with this project so expect them to be ripping dance floors apart pretty much everywhere from now on, consider yourself warned.

Fearsome Engine is turbo-charged, pedal to the metal, full-on psychedelic, furious fun-loving, nitrous-igniting, mind-expanding, combusting consciousness, nucleonic, slabathonic, accelerator generator, driving force beyond the within, Fearsome Engine is the mutant hybrid creation of Laughing Buddha and Tristan; two of the most long standing and respected artists on the psychedelic trance scene. Both are based in west london and have combined forces to produce a unique sound to rock the dancefloors: full power but deep and psychedelic trance. Prepare to seriously spanked.




Tristan

UK based, Tristan, has been djing for nearly 15 years and should need no introduction. He has travelled to many parts of the world through his work including new york, tokyo, israel, paris, south africa, brazil, zambia and many more… the dj career has risen hand in hand with the production in the studio, which has included many collaborations with artists such as manmademan, process, 100th monkey, dick trevor (of green nuns fame), and currently has plans to work with simon posford and koxbox.

He is presently working on his third album and first for NANO: ‘chemisphere’, which follows his first solo album: “audiodrome”, and second: ’substance’ (both released on Twisted Records). Tristan has been a close friend and supporter of NANO since the beginning, along with releasing tunes through the label too. We are over the moon to have him on board and look forward to a bright partnership with our buddy for a long time to come.

Tuskin kenenkään ulkkariartistin kanssa on ollut niin hauskaa ja välitöntä mitä itselläni oli Tristanin, hänen tyttöystävänsa ja muutaman muun ystävän kanssa keskisuomessa elokuussa vuonna 2002 Tristanin suomen ensivisiitin jälkeen (Thirteen Productions - Makasiinit 08/2002). Ilma oli kun morsmaikku kun kneeboardasimme veneen perässä kauniissa suomen suvisäässä...damn, et olikin kivaa...ja onhan tämä vieläkin :)
