B i o g r a p h y :
In the innocent year 1993 this young fella fell in love with housemusic.
That relationship has lasted through the date and now
he's keen on variety of styles in technomusic.

"DJs and groups that has influenced me (since the mid 90's) are The Prodigy, Moby,
Chemical Brothers, Apollo 440, Antiloop, Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim to name a few.
I loved them because they combined the energy of rock music to electronic music -
Bands like U2, Depeche Mode and not to forget New Order - after that, everything changed for me."

DJ Benedix has been following the metamorphosis of the techno scene
for more than a decade and he's been spinning records since the year 2000.
He is also the resident DJ in the famous Millennium group from Turku and known
for arranging big extravagant techno parties. He has also played in such events
held in Finland as Ministry of Sound (UK) and Godskitchen (UK).

Benedix did his first gig to abroad in July, 2004 when he attended
the Sun Dance Music Festival in Tallinn (EST), with other DJs from the Millennium group.

DJ Benedix has always highlighted the versatility and tolerancy
between all genres of techno and electronic music.

Once again, on a second year in row, in July 2005, he attended with other DJs from
the Millennium group to the Sun Dance Music Festival. This time he did a back2back
gig with DJ John Major.

"The athmosphere and the feeling in the festival is really sunny,
as the name says. People are nice and you feel that you are welcomed there.
It is a surprise for many that drum 'n' bass is so huge in Estonia,
which is just great!"
