Bio

Klabi’s interest towards dj’ing awoke during the spring of 2000 when he was put in front of a couple of decks and hard house vinyl was shoved in his hands. The sound may not have remained the same but after investing in some decks and a mixer he was off and running. After delving into the world of trance and hard progressive beats for some time his sound has developed over the years into what it is today. Klabi’s current sets travel from smooth grooves of deep house into the mind numbing world of twisted house and dirty progressive beats with some electic vibes. He does not like to categorize himself into any genre but rather deliver a multifaceted musical experience that will drive the audience into a state of elation.

After his first public appearance at Club Diep on new years eve 2001, over the years he has played in Estonia and at many of Finlands main house clubs; VooDoo, Sun, Iglu, Rose Garden, Octobus, Pacifique preparty, Club Melting Point, Helsinki Club, Huhuu, SuperCool, Pussy eau de Club-afterparty, Back2Bass, Illumination, Stockholm Diskotek, Konefestari (outdoor festival) Delerium, Renegade, Fiilis, Sunrise, Diep, Just:Moore, DiscoMob, Bootleg, Quality, Ever, 404, Zero 500, Must and in two day Beach party known as Beach Electronic. As well as live sets on Sunday Sessions Radio, Beatbox @ Radio Helsinki, Trombi Fm 105.5 Mhz, Tomon Talo 100.3 Mhz, Bassoradio.com and also in Mosso.

During his career so far Klabi has had the pleasure of playing alongside such foreign and domestic dj talents as P. Julm (ROTD), Little Mike (Beatport), Wes (Type Club, Plasticfantastic), Ian Pooley, Wayne Fountain, Orkidea, Eliot Ness, Miika Kuisma, MrA, Super 8, Dallas Superstars, Proteus, Jay Mellin, Indigo, Unity Collective, Unik, Joe Le Bon, D.N.A, Jay Lamar, Poliisi, KimiK, Milla Lehto, Oded Peled, OlliS to name a few...

In April 2004 Klabi was approached with his first residency offer at The Player's Club. After a successful year playing for Player's which saw his reputation steadily grow, Klabi joined Helsinki Underground Collective in 2005 and gave up the residency at The Player's Club. In august 2005 HUGC boys were offered a weekly residency at Superbar. After playing in Superbar nearly every week for an year the owner decided that it was a time for a face lift in that bar and made it a "Cigar bar"... At the moment Klabi is a free agent operative of the Collective and one of Finland’s new and rising bigroom house djs. One to watch in the near future.
